2025 Internship Application

Thank you for your interest in the Internship Program. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, starting March 20, until the 2025 cohort is fully selected.

Timeline

  • April 12, 2025 - 1st Round 2-minute Video Application Submission 

    • Due by 5 pm CST on April 12, 2025

  • April 22-26, 2025 - 2nd Round Virtual Interview with Position Experts

  • April 30, 2025 - Selection Notification​

  • May 19, 2025 - Virtual Orientation Session

  • May 19, 2025 - Internship starts (virtual/remote)

  • June 9, 2025 - Mid-Term Virtual Check-In 

    • Personal and Professional Development Workshops

  • August 1, 2025 - Last Day of Internship

  • August 25-27, 2025 - The Department of the Air Force Information Technology and Cyberpower Education and Training Conference (DAIFTC) (Montgomery, AL)

Eligibility

Applicants must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited institution, pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with a projected expected graduation date after December 2025. 

 

Applicants must have professional or academic experience with Java, ETL/SQL, Python, or similar programming languages

 

Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance when applying.

 

Applicants must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the internship.​​

Students must submit a 2-minute video introducing themselves.  Videos must address the following topics:

  • Introduction

    • Your name

    • School

    • Major

    • Classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, etc.)

    • Hometown

  • Interest in the Internship

    • Explain why you are interested in this specific internship position.

    • Highlight any aspects of the internship that appeal to you, such as ManTech's mission, the opportunity for growth and learning, or the chance to work in a specific area of interest.

  • Relevant Experiences and Skills

    • Discuss key experiences or skills you have gained from your curriculum, previous internships, or extracurricular activities that you believe make you a strong candidate.

    • Provide examples of projects or tasks you have worked on that demonstrate your abilities and how they relate to the internship requirements.

  • Alignment with Career Goals

    • Explain how this internship aligns with your career goals and what you hope to gain from the experience.

      • Discuss how the internship will help you develop professionally and contribute to your long-term career aspirations.

    • Closing

      • Summarize your interest in the internship and reiterate why you believe you are a strong candidate.

      • Thank the viewers for considering your application and express your enthusiasm for the opportunity.
